Star struck!

Everyone get's a little star struck at times and I for one am one of them. First of all a girl I was on tv with (remember that????) has a new book, yes BOOK !!! coming out in July! You all must buy a copy!

KNOCK DOWN KNITS.jpg

OH MY GOD I KNOW HER!!!!!

YAY Toni!!!!
How cool is that????? I am really so happy for her. I can't wait to get it.

Secondly, my son and I were in a local mexican restaurant in my little suburb, minding our own business and This Guy

joey.jpg

Was right behind us with his band!!!! Yeah, so who the hell is he? Well he was in Anthrax! Remember that hair band from the 80's? I kept telling "Not So Little Geek" to say something to them or him (like I was gonna) He was so funny! My son that is, he kept looking at them out of the corner of his eye. You would think it was Led Zepplin or something! I thought it was pretty cool.... I mean the guy was old and all, but still rocks.

Alright, enough of my star talk. Here is the knitting content. Wanna know how many pictures I took of my self in my Sam Kinison hat??? click here And those were the good ones!

Have a great weekend! I'm gonna rock out!

You have such a cool life... I really need to work on mine. I never see anyone famous!

I've had quite few celebrity sighting at the last store I was at. I don't know why I didn't blog about them...it would be great fodder. Anyway. I don't think I would have recognized that guy from Anthrax. Now, Scott Ian, I would have recognized. How could you not with that goatee?!

I'm looking forward to that book...

I loved Anthrax in high school... that is pretty cool! The book, too!

Fun! I imagine Kurt would have reacted the same way.

I'm still feeling a little starstruck after seeing Obama speak last night in our little city.

Wait a minute. Hello?!?! Why were you on tv? And how did you meet all of these cool people who make neat things (the mocassins, the secret lentil clothes....)?

That is so FREAKIN' cool!!!!
Both Toni's knitting book and standing in line with Joey Belladonna!!!!!!!

Posted by: Diana Troldahl at April 7, 2008 07:44 AM

Joey Belladonna is from Oswego NY. We were in high school together and he is cousin to my cousins (the Bellardinis). Didn't he get kicked out of Anthrax for partying too much? (see the VH1 Behind the Music)

We saw that guy at Walmart last year. I had no idea who he was, but of course Dave did. He lives in Camillus, believe it or not.
