Progress is good right?

So I AM making progress on my Cascading Leaves Sock.
I AM really enjoying the pattern.
But why does my head turn so easily?
I can be very faithful, but sometimes it's hard....

I have been wanting to make this in a bad way for a long time. I thought I even had the right yarn, but I think this is too thin. The pattern calls for size 8 needles. The pattern also calls for handspun yarn. Perhaps I should do as the pattern says.
Perhaps I should finish the socks first. I am so fickle.

Maybe a compromise would work? 3 rounds on the socks for every 1 round on the hat... that way the socks are finished before the hat!

Be fickle! That's what it's about, eh? Love that hat!

Hi Beth,
Go ahead and play with the new project. You can always bring the sock to knit on the way to Hemlock. It's a long ride - you'll probably finish that one and start the next! I'm bringing my sock too, since I forgot to bring it to the meeting. :-)

That Cascading Leaves is beautiful! And how seasonally appropriate!

Good? Progress is great!!! But there is nothing like a nice little diversion now and again...

I've been all over the place with knitting too recently. I haven't finished anything, but I sure have started a lot!

The voices in my head say you should make the hat. It's a quick knit! I don't know what happens if you ignore the voices. :-)

The sock is so pretty! Except that photo totally looks like a shot from a hit-and-run news story. Keep going on the sock! You're so close!

Just stumbled on your blog as I was looking for other CNY/Syracuse knitters. I live in Manlius!
