Pretty Socks

Specs:
Yarn: Rowan 4 ply Botany - Purply heathery color - 2 1/2 balls
Needles: US Size 2 DPNS and US Size 2 Circulars
Pattern: Spiral Boot Socks from Interweave Knits Summer 2007 issue
These were very easy. The pattern is well written and easy to follow. I would highly recommend anyone afraid to try these, not to be afraid.
They are my favorite socks right now. I was going to take a picture of them in a pair of boots, but it was like 90 degree's this weekend! So sorry, no highly stylized photo shoot. (ha ha)

They look fabulous! Purple is my favorite, knee-highs are my favorite. I'm going to have to make a pair for myself.

I'm not sure about your sheep... :p

Beautiful job on the socks! And I am totally jealous of your magic sheep. I keep eyeing those up and hoping one day one will end up in my Christmas stocking. I might need to be more obvious with my love of strange sheep things with my husband :)

Hi Beth, I´m a spanish girl. Sometimes I visit your blog, you´re an artist!, I learnt to make shocks two or three years ago (Now i´m 27)because my grand mother (she is 84 now)teached me, i think that make it is not easy here is a popular between old people but not the young i thik that is a traditional work for not forget.

... lovely finish touch on those socks. And what slim shins and calves in those purple socks. The photos are particularly artsy using the bush and rock as back drops - a real mother nature approach to the still photography. Love it. M
