I would even MARRY my new sweater.

Here is the back:

Pattern: Karalund from Cornelia Tuttle Hamilton's Book 2
Yarn: Noro Silk Garden - 9 skeins (it called for 10, I have enough to make a hat!)
Needles: US 8 circular

I would SO make another one of these! I was way easy and it is very flattering, I think....I have it on today and I am sure I will have to put it away until fall. But that's okay, I got to wear it once right?

I love the way the yoke goes vertical with the ribbing...very stylish...!!
so you think I could manage it?

Oh you GO geek girl!!! I've GOT to see it in person *grin*

Now what orange thing are ya gonna knit? ::laughing::

The sweater turned out great! How did you decide to do the seams? It looks really comfy.

Raggedy Ann sitting next to PeeWee Herman. Hmmmm. Pretty much sums up your outlook on life, eh?

Gorgeous! Very nice! Makes me wish I hadn't frogged mine!

Super good looking sweater! Nice V in the front and in back - NICE. Let's hope for more chilly days so you get to wear it again before tucking it away for fall. Down side is no one can concentrate in the office they are jammed up with envy.

Looks great!

Awesome!!! I have a pattern that is very similar and thought it might make for an easy knit. But I wondered what it would look like finished. I guess it would look pretty darned good!!!

Looks great on you. Nice job!

Posted by: Chelle at May 17, 2007 10:40 PM

Oooh, pretty colors. Yours fits well, too. Oftentimes folks have made this sweater a bit too big, I think. Yay!

Posted by: Karma at May 17, 2007 11:18 PM

omg that looks great on you! yeah! i love it!

Posted by: kris at May 18, 2007 05:01 AM

It's fantastic!!

Posted by: scout at May 18, 2007 10:15 AM

I LOVE it... you've almost convinced me to add it to my "someday I'll get around to knitting this" list... the downside is that I don't know whether it would be flattering on my body type.

Looks awesome- and I love the Pee Wee in the background!

Wow, it looks great! I love that sweater construction. There's a sweater that looks very similar in the new "Glamour knits" book, but it has a feather and fan pattern. The shape is the same though.

Very nice!

Noro Silk Garden is such beautiful yarn, and that sweater shows it off perfectly. Nice work.

Posted by: Alexis at May 19, 2007 10:42 PM

you're right about it being flattering! What a satisfying (and inspiring) knit!

Posted by: Susan at May 20, 2007 06:27 AM

Awesome sweater! I might have to try it for myself! Only in something cheaper and less gorgeous than Noro :) Looks GREAT!

That is honestly the first curvy Klaralund I've ever seen, and also the first I've seen that doesn't look like a maternity top.

Or maybe it's just you in the sweater :-)

Either way, it looks *awesome*!
