You're never too old for combat boots (although I grew out of my last pair somehow and ended up giving them away).

I am right with Carol, I was thinking "hon, ya are nevah too old for combat boots"! I plan to be wearing my boots (work boots, hiking boots, pac boots, rubber muck boots, whatever other kinds of boots I acquire, I don't have combat boots!) when I'm twice as old as I am now (providing I'm still around!). The socks look great!

I'm in love ;) What about Opal Flamingo in this socks? ;) I think it will made your eyes... yes, something like that, ;) But I just love the pattern at the back - heel and all... maybe sometime in my life it will be my time to knit something like this?
