Enough already!

snowy house.jpg

That was my house yesterday morning. Look to the right. My mail box was knocked off by the snow plow and the husband pushed it into the snow bank. Lovely.

Here is a shot last night looking out my front door

I tried to find a shot that showed what it looks like with out snow and this was all I could find:

Excuse the sock. But hey, it's knitting!

I am so sick of this snow! I am sure everyone in the northeast is pretty sick of it.

Okay, on to the knitting. Just so you know that I am not too busy shoveling or slacking:

They will be done by the weekend! (i hope....)

The over the knee socks are great! I really like them in that red. I'm not sick of it. But then we didn't get as much as you all. And I am sore from shoveling!

Good grief. Enough snow already!!

Love, love, love the socks. Are you making thigh-hi versions?

Holy crap that's a lot of snow! I hope it slacks off a little on you soon. I wish we had that instead of the -30 wind chills we've been having for the last two weeks...

The socks look great! They'll keep you warm out in all that snow!

And this socks, I just love them!!! Need them, ;)
And, back to the, long-long-long one... Need to see them... on your legs (?) and foot ;)

What is really scary is that the view out my front door looks almost just like that!

Gorgeous socks, though!!

Wow, that's a lot of snow! I've only visited snow not live in it. I can only imagine what it would be like to live in from day to day.

The socks are lovely.

Holy Cow! Now I remember why I moved to Florida 16 years ago! We had a killer tornado blow through our area last week and my friend's house was destroyed but we sure don't get snow! Love the knee socks! (a former Syracusan)

Jeez...that's a lot of snow! I, of course, won't tell you what the weather was like today in LA.

I'm about sick of the snow too. Funny how we got spoiled and then when it's finally winter we are tired of it after the first big one. Well heck...I've been plowing/snowblowing every day the past few days and our driveway is 600 feet too long!

Posted by: windyridge at February 16, 2007 08:34 PM

It seems like we are going to get it all at once instead of scattered throughout the winter like we usually do. Blahhhhhhh!!!!!!!

Holy hell that is a lot of snow. I have NO idea what that is like.

Thoss socks? Seriously looking forward to them. I love that pattern. Even though I can't remember where I've seen it...
