Socks..... DONE!

dyeswapsocks1.jpg

Finally. I finished something. And I like it.

Specs:
Pattern: From Knitters's Socks Book. (dunno the exact name or pattern)
Yarn: From my Dye-O-Rama pal. I don't even know if it is machine washable.
Needles: US 2 Circulars

I wish I had made the leg part a little longer. They almost feel like ankle socks. Whatever. They are done. Let's look at them again...

Okay, so these are off the list of works in progress. I really need to finish that shawl don't I?

Congrats on reaching the finish line! They look fab :) I especially love how the stripes match up!

Oh my god, they're fabulous!!!!
Yes, the yarn is machine washable - it's patons kroy, 75% washable wool, 25% nylon!!

Oh I love them!!!! :-)

ohhhhhhhhhhhhh, VERY nice! I'm impressed! Now take a break from knitting and come out and play :)

At first glance I thought they were Knitty's Hedera socks but then I realized they're not... they're actually BETTER! I love them. The stripey action with the lacy pattern worked surprisingly well!

These are adorable!

Those are so pretty, they make me want to start some more socks, even though I have too many projects going at the moment... maybe when I finish one. I've been lurking for a while here - I enjoy your craftiness! :)

Gorgeous socks! I really like the colorway- makes me want a bowl or raspberry sherbet. Please DO let us see the shawl :-)

Yay, socks! Yay, Big Geek! Yay for finishing!!!

Nice job...can't wait to see the shawl. No pressure, though. I can be patient when I need to be. ;)

The socks are beautiful! (ps, they are my favorite length, so if they are too short for you, you can send them to me!).
