Happiness is...
A bobbin FULL of spun fiber and a fat cat

Happiness are 2 bobbins full of spun fiber and a disinterested cat

Happiness is all the above plied and made into yarn and a picture taken on a nice warm sunny day....

I don't know the yardage. It came out lovely. The purple I think will be socks. The grey, I don't know. I have a whole pound to spin up! The cat decided not to model for me anymore. They are so flighty!
Oh and happiness is....

a Christmas present almost done and it isn't even December yet!
PS - My turkey dinner came out brilliant! Really!

purty purty!
Are you using Dale Hauk as the pattern calls for? Or a substitution?
I want to knit one for my brother a.k.a. "he who has a watermelon for a head", and have been thinking about using a light worsted or even a worsted to accomplish the larger size.
glad your turkey day turned out well!

The new yarns look great! The more I see that hat the more I realize it would be perfect for my son, hopefully one day I'll get to it.
Congrats on the turkey :-)

Yup...I keep looking out here and can't find Cutting Edge magazine anywhere. Hmmph.
I share your excitement about Christmas knitting being done and it's still weeks away. I JUST finished a little something for a friend and it's only the 2nd of December. I feel sooooo on top of things. It's nice for a change.
