What the.....
Howdie. Welcome to my pictureless blog post. My computer is on the fritz so I am not sure what I can post picture wise and when. Not that there is any thing to show.
- My shawl. Is not complete. I did not get swallowed up in it, but I came close. I ran out of yarn. I had to rip out the border and go down 2 rows and start from there. I am using the same border as before, so I could have the same problem. Sigh....... But I will not start anything until it is finished. So close yet so far.
- The Flaming Lips concert was WONDERFUL! They put on such a visually stimulating show. I hated for it to end! I love WAYNE COYNE!
What else..........
- My spinning guild started up and our first meeting was yesterday. We take the summers off. So it was nice seeing every one again although it was a poor poor turn out, I haven't a clue why. I always enjoy going. I learn something everytime I go.
- Speaking of spinning, I have been doing that inbetween breaks from Beasty Shawl knitting. I have spun up my prize I received from the Dye-O-Rama swap and I will share as soon as I can.
Pray to the computer gods that my computer will be fixed. Then I can show something.

I can't believe you ran out of yarn.. but hey, GOOD thinking for a solution! I'm sure when it's done, no one will every know.
I totally forgot about guild :-(

Ouch. Sorry about the shawl. If it makes you feel better, I ran out of yarn 1/3 of the way through the border on the Icelandic shawl and had to rip back two rows so I could bind it off. Not fun.

I didn't go Sunday to the guild meeting because Mr. Effer was feeling a little crappy and wanted me to stay home. But I really wanted to go. I can't make the October meeting because I work that Sunday.

FLaming lips, whoo hoo! I am new at this blog thing, lived in Syr for nearly 20 years, another lifetime ago, and asparagus does the same to me. Nobody here can imagine the immensity of the NY state fair. I've knit mobius baskets and dna scarf and am hoping to knit up a dinoflagellate purse or container or something at some point, so I'm thinking I'm in the world of geeky knitters.

Hey! No, I'm not in Syracuse anymore...been some 11 years gone (easy to remember, I left when pregnant w/ my now nearly 11 year old). Am in Augusta ME now, forget how I found you, a link someplace, but I'd seen you before from my pal here and at jujuknits. Do you know about Dulaan Project? I'm spreading the word...knitting to warm Mongolia, anything, due in to sanfrancisco by july 1, 2007.
