Scorcher! Wow!
Is it hot enough? Jeesh! So this is going to be a pictureless post. I got nothing people. I started my second sock (the blueberry pancake one) and got as far as picking up the stitches for the gusset. Then I totally f'd it up and ripped the whole damn thing out. I am a perfectionist. So now I am back to the leg. That's as far as I got. It's just too damn hot. No AC at our house either. Please don't ask. But relief is coming. Work does have AC and I bless my good fortune of having a job.
I have been cruising a lot of web sites this week and found some keepers! I am sure you all have seen them already, but if you haven't then you must check them out.
First there is a Spinning Online Magazine! It's been out for I think 3 issues. It's called Spindlicity
Great site! Great patterns. Check out this cute hat. Marnie MacLean has such cute things!
Here is another spinning blog I have been drooling over:
Two Left Needles
I don't know her name (yet) but her spinning is GORGEOUS! Her knitting projects aren't so bad either. She also gives some good tips!
Another knitting/spinning blog I have been enjoying is Seed Stitch. Truly lovely stuff.
I really need to get my ass in gear for this Muff Along! There will be prizes! We still don't know what we are doing yet. I don't know how some of you all organize these things and we only have less than 10 people! I give you credit.
Okay, that's it. I need to have a popsicle.

Hey, thanks! I'm glad I found your blog too! And Two Left Needles is Monica, she's absolutely wonderful, as is her spinning. I'm lucky enough to know her in person!

I'm lucky enough to know both Cheryl and Monica in person as well - and can happily say that yes, Monica's spinning is that good (she's a natural) and Cheryl consistently churns out some gorgeous projects. They are also just plain "good people" too.

Two Left Needles is also the lady who invented the DNA scarf!

Hello Poppet! It has been quite warm to knit. The heat will subside a bit tho and you will be able to get ahead on those socks of blueberry! Want to stay cool? Watch Eddie Izzard tonight! Oh wait, you will probably end up laughing hysterically and make yourself even warmer!! Cake or Death?

I can't believe you're knitting without air conditioning. That's dedication! (or insanity?)

Wow, I heard it's hot out there. It's actually been very pleasant here in CO. You'd think it would be hotter here... hmmm...

I have started my muff!!! Finally. Yay, Sheep! Of course, it's been too dang hot to complete my muff. My muff sits idle. But that just gives you more time to organize and all...

Aw shucks, thanks! I'm in good company. :)
Can't take credit for the DNA scarf, tho, that's June at TwoSheep.com.
