My new project!
I am so excited! (said like Austin Powers - yeah baby)
I have been searching for a mindless, perfect shawl. Something I want to rush home after work and immediately work on. I found it!
Elizabeth Zimmerman was a cool, cool lady. This is the beginnings of her PI shawl. Do you think she would have had a blog? I think she certainly would have found them amusing....
I wonder how far I will get on it this weekend.....

Didn't she write that big sweater book? I have it but I can't remember the name and I'm too tired to hike upstairs and get it (been packing for vacation on Black Lake (North of Watertown) leaving tomorrow). Great book and of course she would have had a blog!!!

Hey girl.. the color is GORGEOUS and from what I can tell, looks like the shawl will be too! I'll watch the progress so you can tell me if I should ever attempt it or not.. until then... I have a "flower basket" I should be working on *grin*

Oh, I just got EZ's Almanac! So much to look forward to. Her patterns are so intuitive that they do feel "mindless"

That's a great shawl and your progress so far is fab. That's a great color! There's also a yahoo group that was formed around here knitting and particularly the pi shawl: EZasPi. I made one in a rich blue and gave it to my mother last year for Mother's Day.
