New Category!
I love the Dollar Store. Where else can you buy this:

Well actually I think you probably already buy it everywhere. But I am sure it isn't called Placenta Shampoo though. It totally creeps out Mr. Big Geek. He won't use it. I have. Twice. I like it. It smells nice. I think all shampoo have placenta enzyme. They just don't advertise it.
I haven't blocked my shawl. I have started a new sock. I am on a big time fiber diet. It's as hot as a dog's ass here.
Over and out.
Woops! Forgot to mention.....sigh......If you want a laugh please tune in your televisons tomorrow 10:30 am Eastern time to the DIY Network show "Uncommon Threads" Yours truly along with Missa, Meg and Toni are all on it! Please, tell me if I am a complete and utter dork. Or lie and tell me I really need to have my own show! hee hee....

Ewww! You're probably right that most shampoos contain placenta. Ick. What kind of placenta is in there I wonder? Got to love the name though.

I am often the target of mockery due to my love of the dollar store. I hold my head up high and stick to my guns on this. There is nothing finer than coming home with a bag full of goodies and only spending five dollars!!!!!

Grrrosssss! Well, there's actually an entire (aged) skin care line here called 'Hormocenta' which also contains placenta whatever. I was completely disgusted when I figured that out.

Whoa, wow. Right on the label like that, huh? I once read a deal on The Straight Dope website about how some people like to eat the placenta of their baby. Cook it up and eat it. Ugh. Placenta Stew, I think it was.
These are the times I wish I had cable with more channels! I'm sure you were fabulous!

Obviously the marketing gurus in charge of this product made a LARGE Boo-boo! "Hey, I have a GREAT idea! Let's call it Placenta Shampoo!! Let's just put it out there, it's natural and fresh. People will buy this stuff! It's the next big thing! TRUST ME!" A few days later you hear someone being sacked and Placenta Shampoo is being sold in the $1 store...To each his own I guess. Is it human or animal placenta??? Urea is also a common ingredient in many hair and beauty products. Hey,I mean, they're not using the placenta anymore anyway...might as well get some benefits for your hair right? Waste not want not!!

I am sooo not offended by the shampoo. It's odd, but it doesn't bother me.
And I wish I had the DIY Network. Anyone want to send me a copy of it? ;)
