Memorial Weekend, Day 2 with Mia...
Yes, I am sure you were all chomping at the bit. I spent Sunday afternoon with Mia and her family. Here is the lovely hostess herself:
She's a little shy, and yes that is a cigar. Boy did we have fun. There was a ton of food and drinks. Here is "Geek boy" as she calls him
She also had a golf cart to cart us around. Even to the bathrooms which we could have walked to.
Mr. Big Geek did what he does best:
Unfortunately requests for kumbaya (I have no idea how to spell it) were denied. He has his limits folks. He did play a John Denver song and I think Blowin' In the Wind. But don't tell anybody.

Finally we all sat around the fire to digest our food. I took this picture and I swear it was Elvis! What do you think...was I drunk?
There was no knitting to be done on this day. No way. I don't think I could have if I tried! I had to take a nap the next day. Thanks Mia! Had a great time.
Up tomorrow:
The 5 minute parade..... and some knitting!

Elvis... DEFINITELY Elvis.. laughing. And I'm LOVING that sunset pic. They're like that just about every night!
That was FUN! (And you hubby and geekboy were great too!)

Glad you guys had a great time. Mr. Effer and I were going to come out on Sunday but ended up working on the house. I'd rather play drunken hoola hoop with Mia than the drudgery of working around the house!
