Okay, so the hat was a bit much.....
Wow! I haven't seen that many comments since my Fun Fur entry! Thanks for all the comments! I will keep them all in mind. But you haven't seen the last of my tacky projects. Oh no. I have a good one up my sleeve. In the mean time.........
How about a nice pair of socks?

Here is the lace panel on the side

Specs:
Yarn: Lorna's Laces - Girly Stripe
Needles: Size 1 US - 2 circular
Pattern: Dublin Bay Sock
Side Note: I shaved my legs for you people!
I love the colors that Lorna's Laces puts out, but I am still not sure if I like knitting with it. Jury is still out.

Love those socks. I really like the pattern- which book did you get it from? Thanks for shaving, but it really wasn't necessary- all eyes will be focused on your fab socks!

Gorgeous! Am so impressed with the leg shaving - I always just crop my hairiness out ;-)

i am with you on the lornas. i am working on my first pair with it and it splits a little too much for my liking. but i will suffer through, i have many skeins in my stash (i love their colors!!).

Pretty pretty pretty! I know what you mean about knitting with the Lorna's Laces. But at least that yarn is hardy and can withstand a lot of abuse, so I find it worthwhile.

oh wow, beth! they are GORGEOUS! absolutely perfect colour/pattern combo. and the legs are so smooth!

I am the same with with LL. I WANT to love it, but sometimes I am just not FEELING the love.
And I appreciate the extra grooming you did just for us. Aren't you sweet!

Very nice colors and the stitch pattern on the side is very cool. Much easier on the eyes than the hat! hahahahahaha

I'm so glad you shaved!! I'm going to attempt the socks again. I think I figured out how to begin the loop - since I'm almost done with my scarf!!!

Hey Beth!
Thanks for putting up the link to the Dubliner socks. I tried to get the pattern from a link on another site and it crashed my computer!!
I am still mystified as to how you turn out socks so fast! And these socks are beauties too.
Hope your little leggies aren't to cold without their fur but thanks for the sacrifice.

ooooh, I love those!
(I shaved for my sock picture the other day, too!)

I totally agree about the Lorna's yarn... not my favorite to knit with, but the colors are pretty good. Beautiful socks though and thanks for shaving ;-)

Thank heavens she shaved her legs for us....LOL

Ooooo, nice socks. I like the look of yours better than the pair pictured on the pattern page. I might have to try the Dublin Bay's!

I knew you would beat me! I am on the last bit of the toe decreases - so we can be Dublin Bay twins very soon! ;) They turned out great, Beth!

Thank you, now I feel like I can finally admit that I don't like knitting with LL very much! Everyone seems to drool over it so much and aspires to buy craploads of it and... I just don't.

As always, Beth, your socks are faboo!
But by golly, I'm running out of room on my sock pattern want-to-knit list! Stop coming up with such awesome patterns! *laughs*

Very nice! I'm going full steam on my socks.

You're getting all fancy with the lace panel on the side thingie! Very cool! Love the colors.

I haven't knit with any of the Lorna's Laces sock yarn, but the Lion and Lamb is GREAT!
Ooohhhh, sssooooooccckkkkssss! YUM!

Cute sock! I like the lace panel on the side.

sassy!

I like Girly Stripe on you so much better than I like it in the skein! I love it when that happens. The Dublin Bay socks turned out so well. I still have that pattern in my queue for a future pair of socks. Thanks for shaving your legs, you hot mama! :)

Hi there,
GREAT socks! I'm knitting the same ones! Different color.. but the same pattern and I LOVE it.
Hey, if you can, would you e-mail me? I couldn't find a place on your site to email you directly and I'd like to chat with you for a minute.. on the side *grin*

I love the hat - I went to the Caron website but did not find the free pattern. Could you email or post it?
And I confess - I buy Red Heart yarn all the time, especially when I am trying something for the first time and have no idea if I am getting the number of stitches right (I hate doing a swatch and it never helps anyway).
