What I got
I got a little of this

I got a little of that

What do you do? Well, crusing around blog land I found at Hello Yarn, a beautiful shawl. You have to scroll down to Sunday August 7th. She made, like I said, the most beautiful shawl out of her handspun. Which got me thinking about all of my small bits of yarn. So I went for it. I started one

Oh the possibilities...........course the colors I have look like crap next to one another. What the heck, it probably will end up looking like something "Molly Weasley" would wear. (I secretly love all of her shawls anyway)
But don't worry, I still have the socks

I will always be knitting socks. Socks make a feet happy.

I'm glad you like it! That's so funny. I call my shawl the Mrs. Weasley shawl. She does have the best knits.

Where, oh where did you find the wavy socks pattern?! I love the look of that pattern with the Lorna's Laces!! Plus...I love, love, love the pink and green socks that you just finished! Someday, I want to make pretty socks just like you:)

I thought I had a lot of little bits! You beat me out! It's going to be a lovely shawl, and I'm sure once you get all the colors together, you won't even notice how crappy you may think those two colors look next to each other. D

My gawd, woman! Make the shawl - it is the season of the gypsy according to fashion mavens - knit those jewel toned yarns and love it!

I think a funky shawl with all sorts of different colors is going to look great, definitely keep it up... clashing colors be damned!
Oh yeah, once a sock person, always a sock person!

I bow to your superior stash!
Knit as many socks as you like.
If your feet aren't happy, the day just isn't right!

I saw that shawl as well. It's really a beautiful pattern, reminds me of Fiber Trends Shoalwater Shawl... just might cast on one myself. Love all your knits!
