Okay so I had this great post all set up yesterday....
Then, yes, I hit my "refresh" button by mistake. How stupid is that? I was a great one too. I had Memorial Day Parade stuff! Crap! And I am not going to re-do it. You will like this better anyway. Well speaking of stupid, I never told you who I was gifting for secret pal 4! Der! I was sending gifts to Brooke. I don't know why she calls it Missy B if her name is Brooke, I never asked her. Any way she is a VERY talented spinner and weaver. You should check out her weaving. It is most excellent! Where am I going with this, I really am amazed at the kindess of the people I have met through blogging. Brooke sent ME a gift!

OH MY GOD! Is this not the best? Hand spun yarn, roving, and chocolate! What more can a girl ask for? I think Audrey may like these colors! They are so pretty. Thank you Brooke!
I went to one of my LYS the other day to pick up this book and I walked out with this

So I could make another one of these

Yes another button hole bag. They are addicting. The yarn is Cascade 220. Love the colors.
I did a little Kool-Aide dyeing over the weekend. I took this

And this is what I got

WOW I am very happy with this! This was fun, not that messy and cheap!
Oh yeah, the book I bought on how to knit socks on 2 circular needles. Why didn't anybody tell me about this sooner? You will never go back to double pointed when you see how easy it is!

Oh wow, your KoolAid dying turned out great. I love the red and purple skeins, they're awesome!!!
Well, I'm gonna have to disagree with you about the two circular needles. I've tried it and I still love my dp's. Maybe I'm just a weirdo!

Love the Kool-Aid! Isn't that the funnest? Most fun? More fun? Too fun.

I love those colors on the buttonhole bag too--very cute and springy :)
Wow, your Kool-Aid dyeing turned out wonderful! All of those are Lite Lopi? that is one yarn I have not tried dyeing yet... but looking at your results, I think I need to!
Yeah, I need to try this 2 circ thing--I have said that far too long...
Take care, Beth :)

your buttonhole bags are beautiful too but are you sure this sudden productivity is not just so you don't have to FINISH TAMMY!?!?!

Love the Kool-aid dyed yarn! How many packets did it take to get those intense blue and orange colors?

A better post than this one? Nah!
Look at all the beautiful yarn.
I have been wanting to make a buttonhole bag for a while now. Yours are very cool.

Very nice kool-aid dying. I found a bunch of plain colored wool while doing my recent stash reorganization that I think will be perfect for my first kool-aid dying experiment. I think I'll make a funky scarf. Maybe next holiday weekend I'll give a try at dying. Everyone's outcomes seems like such great fun.
Oh and what lovely gifts....

The reason I call it Missy B is two fold. First off, my parents picked my name (Brooke) because you can't make a nickname out of it. Well, two of my close friends have managed the impossible and call me B-Rock regularly. I'm sorry but that just didn't appeal to me as a blog name. So, instead I picked the name of a trans-gender bar in Kansas City, Mo. 'Missy B'. Obscure, I know, but it's like a private joke esp. considering I'm not trans-gender. I don't know if the bar still exsists. I'm not sure if that cleared things up or just made them murkier. Oh well.

Wow. Knitting two socks on circular needles does seem like a revelation (not that I know firsthand, or anything). I love your koolaid dyed yarn! ^_^ Great colours. Way to go for another buttonhole bag too. Very cute. And such great surprises! Awsome.

You have the coolest stash! hehe ^_^ Such neat colours!.... When I first started knitting I kept reading about that book, but I haven't seen anything about it since. I have to admit that the thought scares me.....but i have to try it since everybody's lovin' it! Can't wait to see how it turns out for you!
