The bag

Can I tell you how much I love this pattern? Why don't I marry it? I love it so much! Okay that was queer. Here is the before felting shot

I showed it with my hand so you could see how big this sucker is before the felting. WOW!

It's a beaut! A keeper, a winner! See my purple "afro" flowers behind it? They didn't go to their full "afro" size. I love them.

Another nice shot of my flowers. Lets take another look at the bag shall we?

So, I have been getting some quite humorous comments about the Fun Fur newsletter. Grumperina sent me a great link to an essay over here. You gotta love it. Speaking of Fun Fur, Meg at Nepenthe's Misadventures thought this would be a good submission to the Fun Fur contest

I think it's right on the money!

Everyone, have a safe and happy Memorial Day Weekend!

LOVE the FunFur idea. I knew exactly what it was as soon as I saw the picture, didn't even need to read the text! Hahahahaha...

I love the colors and shape of the bag.
I believe the flowers are related to the
onion family. Oh! It has been about 9 years
since I last planted flowers. Really, I
am trying to get back into it as well as knitting.

I love the bag but I have a question. How much did you felt that sucker? I think you are suffering from Brown Sheep syndrome. I hate the way their stuff felts.

Oh, I think you're right. You are obsessed with that bag, but you didn't show a picture of the bag with your hand in it as an after shot so we can see how much it shrunk!

Oh, by the way, that sweater that I made, I cut the openings for the sleeves. Let me tell you it's a pain in the butt to sew in circular sleeves into a sweater that's shoulders and sides are sewn up. If you're not careful you could end up with poofy sleeves. I hate poofy sleeves!

Very sweet felted buttonhole bag! Love the flower pics too! I've also been enjoying your detailed explorations of your magazine and pattern collections. Quite interesting to a fellow organizer (aka anal person). The fun fur stuff is hillarious! You crack me up! ^_^
