The birds are singing, the sky is blue.....

Life is good! Did I get Tammy done this weekend? What are you kidding me? The birds were singing! The sky was blue! The kitties were frolicking

There was no time for sewing or weaving in of ends, no way, not for me. I did how ever start the scarf "Branching Out" from the new Knitty

Here it is on Satruday

This is the yarn that my secret pal sent me. It is beautiful.

I took back yarn that I thought I would need for Tammy and didn't need. Got something else wanna see it?

I think I am getting a little obsessive about Rebbeca Magazines. But hey, I had to use my store credit!

I got a package from Kris. Isn't she the best? See that building in the upper left hand corner? That's her freaking house! She sent me a couple of cd's some more of the alpaca yarn that she sent me before and enough cotton tape to make Carla! I love her! THANKS KRIS!!

Oh yeah, I need my hair cut badly don't you think?

I got it "trimmed" this Saturday. I am trying to let it grow, so I didn't get that much cut off. It just looks a little more presentable, shall we say.

Have you seen Missa's site? Doin' a happy dance over here! Now I gotta loose the 10 lbs. that the camera will add!

Holy crap, you're gonna be on TV! The lovely knittiot clued me in this morning. Very exciting. By the way I love your hair (doesn't every straight-haired girl want curly hair and vice versa?)

And I'm jealous you have flowers in your yard. Up until about yesterday there was still snow in mine!

your hair is so beautiful! i want curls like that! only thing is that it takes longer to grow long ...

that's funny - i saw that glow in the dark yarn in my lys and i thought of you!

i'm loving those curls! why do your curls look so much better and funkier than my own pathetic attempt at curls. i am sure i don't help by taking to my mop with a straighting brush and blowdrier.

cannot wait to see what fluro number you are concocting!

Like everyone else said so far...( I am soooo behind on my blog reading...) LOVE the curls. My hair is just wavy. I can go straight with a little help from some gel and a straightener or go curly with some mousse and a diffuser. I guess its the best of both worlds...but it requires work.

And how weird is it to think you are going to be on tv?! I dont have the DIY network. I wish I did...

why oh why don't my eyelets pop like that??? Your branching out look beautiful! I'm using cotton as well, but its just not poping the same :( Is there any chance its that I am using circs? It hardly even slides off the bamboo!

cute kitty ;)

hi! as you saw, i figured out my flub! i've put new pics up of the new and improved branching out... PHEW! I'll never make that mistake again, that's for sure ;) And man, "cast on with waste yarn" actually stopped me from jumping into a pattern once... I have yet to go back and tackle it! I'm curious, where'd you find "Falk" brand yarn??? That's (used to be) my last name! thanks so much for the encouragement and taking a look at my piece!
