The Pair
See? See how the left one is bigger? I also don't like how long they are. I am going to make it shorter at the tip. They flop all over the place.
My favorite yarn store sale is now over until July. If you know me at all you know I have a hard time waiting for ANYTHING. When I bought the Noro yarn, I didn't mention that I also bought a Rowan Book. Magazine 36 I believe. The one with BIRCH in it.
I was weak, I couldn't help my self. For those of you who don't know, Birch is a shawl. This crappy photo doesn't show the color properly. It is greenish grey. I really can't believe it only takes 3 balls to make. Okay, that's it. I am not buying any more until July.

Hey if you want to knit Birch, there's a french knit-along, I suppose there's an english-spoken-here one too.
I tried to knit her but I frogged it... maybe later, one day...

You're right, those are some long mittens! Oh and I'd love to see you hold out until July! Wouldn't that be quite the challenge!

Put the left mitten in the washer! It might shrink. Or not. :/

I had the same problem with a pair of mittens I knit for melissa (a.k.a. knit wit). I knit both mittens at different times & must have knitted the second with a tighter tension....they still fit fine but you could tell one was a little different! As a result, I felt guilty about it hehe, so I knit a hat to go with her gift hahaha!!! ^_^ 2 knit-wears are better than one - hopefully it made up for the tighter mitten!!! haha

Hahahah! The pain and agony!!! We need a support group. But I like yours, too! I wonder... do you think there is a two circ mitten pattern out there? To knit both of them at the same time? I bet that would solve all sorts of gauge issues.
